Simms Earns First ECAC Honor of the Season

Ewing, NJ… The College of New Jersey’s women’s swimming and diving team had senior diver Kristen Simms (Mt. Holly, NJ/Rancocas Valley Regional) selected as the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Diver of the Week for the first time this season.

Simms earned ECAC Diver of the Week honors after capturing both the one-meter and three-meter events with marks of 222.53 and 247.20, respectively, in a tri-meet against Johns Hopkins University and Division II West Chester University on January 17.

TCNJ, who is now 3-4 on the year, will look to snap its three-meet losing streak and even out its record when the Lions host New York University (5-2) on Saturday at noon.
