Lions honored by New Jersey Athletic Conference

Ponoma, NJ ... Seniors Jay Frank (Brick, NJ/Brick) and Michelle Wallace (Emerson, NJ/Emerson) were honored by the New Jersey Athletic Conference for their athletic accomplishments for the week ending November 22, 2009.
Frank led the Lions to a 3-1 start in their opening week as he averaged 18 points and 5.8 rebounds while compiling 15 assists and 10 steals. He was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Albright College Tip-off tournament and currently ranks second in scoring in the NJAC.
Wallace ran in the NCAA Championships and placed 72nd of 279 runners, posting a time of 23:20.9 in the 6k race. This marks the third time this season that Wallace has received NJAC Runner of the Week honors in additon to being named to the All-NJAC First Team.
