Vote of TCNJ midfielder Alison Jaeger
Junior Alison Jaeger (Hampton, NJ/North Hunterdon) is in a tight race for Lacrosse Magazine's Dvision III Pre-Season Player of the Year honors. As of Thursday, December 3, Jaeger is in second place with 2,983 votes behind Kate Robinson of Catholic University, who now has 4,535 votes.
Jaeger has been selected by Lacrosse Magazine as one of four Division III Pre-season Player of the Year finalists. The magazine is making the final determination based on the highest number of votes received between Jaeger, Robinson, senior Hollis Stahl of Gettysburg College, and junior Rachel Romanowski of Trinity College.
Jaeger was one of two sophomores to earn 2009 All-American honors last spring. She scored 65 goals, and the Lions midfielder now has 111 career goals and 142 points in her two seasons at The College of New Jersey.
