Williamstown, MA … The College of New Jersey women's cross country team placed 13th out of 39 schools at the East Coast Athletic Conference Championships at Williams College. 

The Lions  were led by junior Brittany Erickson (Belle Mead, NJ/Montgomery) who finished the 6000-meter race in 58th place out of 275 runners with a time of 25:48. Sophomore Noelle Gotthardt (Hillsdale, NJ/Pascack Valley) placed 75th with a posted time of 26:16 and Abbey Wallach (Harrington Park, Saddle River Day School) crossed the finish line in 26:29 which was good for 85th place.

Sophomore Meghan Bruce (Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill West) ran a steady pace to finish in the top 100 runners posting a time of 26:45 (98th place) and sophomore Casey Valdes (Scotch Plains, NJ/Scotch Plains-Fanwood) came in less than a minute later at 27:08 (119th place).

The men's and women's cross country teams will compete in the Atlantic Regional Championships hosted by SUNY Geneseo in Morris, NY on Saturday, November 14 at 11 a.m.
