Bethlehem, PA… The College of New Jersey women's track and field team turned another solid performance during the outdoor season as the Lions participated in the Greyhound Invitational hosted by Moravian College.
The Lions met ECAC standards during the meet with the women's squad also picking up a pair of NCAA provisional cuts.
Junior Priscilla Senyah (Sayreville, NJ/Sayreville War Memorial) was third in the 100-meter high hurdles with a NCAA provisional cut of 14.92 seconds.
The other provisional mark came in the 4x400 relay as the team of Alexandra Tomaselli (Hillsdale, NJ/Pascack Valley), junior Jianna Spadaccini (Butler, NJ/Butler), sophomore Meryl Wimberly (Farmingdale, NJ/Colts Neck), and senior Stephanie Herrick (Wayne, NJ/Wayne Valley) placed second with a time of 3:55.79.
In the 400 hurdles, junior Meghan Miller (Sayreville, NJ/Sayreville War Memorial) was fifth in an ECAC worthy time of 66.30 seconds, while Tomaselli was right behind her in sixth place in 67 seconds flat.
The Lions also had runners place fifth and sixth in the 1,500 meters. Sophomore Michelle Wallace (Emerson, NJ/Emerson) claimed fifth in 4:48.98 and freshman Katie Nestor (Allendale, NJ/Northern Highlands) was next with a clocking of 4:50.63.
TCNJ also finished sixth in the 4x100 as the team of Senyah, sophomore Tiffany Etheredge (Newark, NJ/Central), senior Kristen Tricocci (Cinnaminson, NJ/Cinnaminson) and Wimberly collected an ECAC cut of 48.74 seconds.
