Ewing, NJ...The College of New Jersey had a host of student-athletes recognized by the New Jersey Athletic Conference for their efforts last week.
In women's track, senior Martine McGrath (West Long Branch, NJ/Shore Regional) was tabbed as the Track Athlete of the Week, while freshman Emma Tucci (Verona, NJ/Verona) was named the NJAC Rookie of the Week.
In men's track, senior Al Wonesh (Columbus, NJ/Northern Burlington) was honored as the NJAC Track Athlete of the Week.
TCNJ had two individuals honored in women's lacrosse as sophomore Mary Waller (Bel Air, MD/C. Milton Wright) was tabbed as the NJAC Defensive Player of the Wek, while Kathleen Notos (Pennsauken, NJ/Camden Catholic) was honored as the Rookie of the Week.
In softball, freshman Crystal Lee (Dover, NJ/Morris Knolls) was the Rookie of the Week and baseball player Mike Fallon (Edison, NJ/Bishop Ahr) was cited as the NJAC Rookie Pitcher of the Week.
