Ewing, NJ...TCNJ had a host of student-athletes honored by the New Jersey Athletic Conference as they captured weekly honors from the conference.
In baseball, freshman Mike Galeotafiore (Brick, NJ/Christian Brothers Academy) was cited as the as the NJAC Player of the Week, while sophomore Sean Stewart (Howell, NJ/Freehold Twp.) was tabbed as the NJAC Pitcher of Week.
The women's lacrosse team swept all three NJAC awards as sophomore Alison Jaeger (Hampton, NJ/North Hunterdon) was the Player of the Week, sophomore goalie Mary Waller (Bel Air, MD/C. Milton Wright) was the Defensive Player of the Week, while freshman Kathleen Notos (Pennsauken, NJ/Camden Catholic) was honored as the Rookie of the Week.
Senior Kristen Tricocci (Cinnaminson, NJ/Cinnaminson) was cited as the NJAC Women's Track Athlete of the Week with teammate Emma Tucci (Verona, NJ/Verona) reeling in Rookie of the Week honors.
Freshman Chris Medina (Lakewood, NJ/Monsignor Donovan) was the final Lion recognized as he was selected as the NJAC Rookie of the Week for men's track and field.
