TCNJ netters perform well at Lions' Tournament

TJ Riley was a combined 5-0 in the tournament.

Ewing, NJ...Hosting a tournament for the second time in the fall, The College of New Jersey men's tennis team boasted another strong outing as the Lions entertained Stevens Institute of Technology for a two-day event. The Lions and Ducks wrapped up action at the Lions' Tournament on Saturday at TCNJ's Tennis Complex.

In singles action, TCNJ had two individuals win both of their matches as sophomore Dan Lee (Abington, PA/Abington) and TJ Riley (Mt. Laurel, NJ/Moorestown) each came out on top in their matches.

Riley added to his already strong tournament by teaming up with sophomore Steven Fernandez (West Windsor, NJ/W. Windsor-Plainsboro S.) to go a perfect 3-0 in doubles. TCNJ had another pairing go undefeated in doubles as sophomore Stewart Fernandez (West Windsor, NJ/W. Windsor-Plainsboro S.) and Lee went 2-0.
