New York, NY...The College of New Jersey wrestling team made the most of its trip to New York City on Wednesday as they recorded a pair of dual-meet wins in as many tries. The Lions posted a 33-14 win over Hunter College and collected a 28-9 triumph against New York University.

Those three wins put the 12th-ranked Lions at 3-0 on the season.

TCNJ had a number of grapplers win both of their matches on the day, including Dan Herr (Rockaway, NJ/Morris Knolls) at 133, Justin Bonitatis (Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill East) at 165, Brian Broderick (Manalapan, NJ/Southern Regional) at 174, Mike Denver (Bayville, NJ/Central Regional) at 184, Adam Koziol (Paramaus, NJ/Paramus) at 197) and Jeff Furbish (Chatham, NJ/Chatham) at heavyweight. 

The Lions face a tough challenge on Saturday as they head to the East Stroudsburg Open, which features more than 25 institutions from Division I, II, and III programs.
