Pittman, NJ ... The College of New Jersey had two student-athletes recognized by the New Jersey Athletic Conference for their performances this past week.
Senior
Jay Frank (Brick, NJ/Brick Memorial) was named the NJAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the third time this season. In two conference games last week, Frank averaged 21 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.5 steals. He was a First Team All-NJAC honoree last season and currently ranks second in the conference in scoring averaging 16.7 points per game.
Senior
Jianna Spadaccini (Butler, NJ/Butler) earned NJAC Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week for her performance in the Valentine Invitational hosted by Boston University. Spadaccini was a three-time All-American in track last season as well as a First Team All-NJAC honoree.
