Clermont, FL...The College of New Jersey softball team’s bid to extend its season-opening six-game win streak was put on hold Friday as their games in Florida were rained out.
The Lions were scheduled to play Simmons College and Pitt-Bradford.
The Lions, which have won their first six games of the season by a combined score of 66-9, resume play on Saturday with the final two games of their spring trip. Due to the weather, those games on Saturday have been pushed back with TCNJ’s first game now set for 3:30 p.m. against Wesleyan University and then at 5:30 p.m. versus Western New England College.
