Ewing, NJ ... Matthew Golden, the Vice President of College Relations and Advancement at The College of New Jesey, was a three-sport athlete at Princeton University. An all-state football, basketball and baseball player out of Bishop Ahr High School, Golden was highly recruited by Division I programs in all three sports.
After graduating in 1994, Golden was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals organization and was rapidly climbing his way to the major leagues before an elbow injury ended his career.
