Danica Roskos (Pennington, NJ/Hopewell Valley) made history at the 2011 Division III National Championships as she won her second national title in three nights winning the 1-meter diving event with an NCAA record score of 515.90 points.
Roskos, who won the 3-meter national championship on Wednesday night, is the only Lion to win national titles in multiple events as The College of New Jersey women's swimming and diving team maintained its grip on fifth place through three days of competition.
Teammate
Sabrina Lucchesi (Columbus, NJ/Notre Dame) placed ninth to earn her second All-American citation in the 2011 championships. She posted a score of 397.95 to chalk up nine team points for TCNJ.
In swimming events, sophomore
Kayleigh Shangle (Highland Park, NJ/Highland Park) finished 17th overall in the 100-yard breaststroke. She narrowly missed earning All-American honors posting a time of 1:04.70 in the event. Freshman
Ashley Conroy (Toms River, NJ/Monsignor Donovan) took 28th in the 100-yard backstroke. The rookie Lion raced to a finish of 58.39 in her first individual event at the NCAA championships.

Caroline Kelly (Lawrenceville, NJ/Lawrence), junior
Melissa Hessler (Palmyra, NJ/Palmyra), and senior
Margaret Molloy (Toms River, NJ/Toms River North) placed ninth in the 800-yard freestyle event. They posted a time of 7:35.16 to set the program record and earn 18 team points.
Tomorrow marks the final day of competition. TCNJ has garnered 162 points while sixth place Stevens Institute of Technology trails by 26 points and seventh place Claremont sits at 108 points.
