CSCAA poll
Ewing, NJ … The College Swim Coaches Association of America Division III Coaches Poll Committee announced its final Top 25 Dual Meet Poll of the 2011-2012 season and The College of New Jersey swimming and diving programs each found themselves ranked in the top 10.
The men's team, led by head coach
Brian Bishop, is ranked sixth overall, boasting a 9-1 dual meet record. Their convincing 158-104 victory at Steven Institute of Technology should provide a springboard for the Lions into post-season, which begins on February 17 in Piscataway, NJ at the 2012 Metropolitan Conference Championships. TCNJ has won five straight MET titles, and would to make it six before competing at the 2012 NCAA Championships in March in Indianapolis.
The women's team, directed by head coach
Jennifer Harnett '93, is ranked 10
th in the final CSCAA poll. They are coming off their most exciting meet of the season, edging Stevens 133-129 by winning the final event of the meet. The Lions have won four straight MET titles and registered their best finish at the NCAA championships in program history in 2011, placing fifth overall.
Kenyon College is ranked first in the men's poll while Emory University tops the women's list.
