Ewing, NJ... The College of New Jersey men's and women's track and field program collected five out of the six weekly honors presented by the New Jersey Athletic Conference for the week ending February 10, 2013.
The women's team swept all three awards as
Brielle Doremus (Middlesex, NJ/Middlesex) was named NJAC Track Athlete of the Week,
Brigit Roemer (Ewing, NJ/Ewing) earned NJAC Field Athlete of the Week honors, and freshman
Courtney Paciulli (Toms River, NJ/Toms River East) was cited as NJAC Rookie of the Week. All three women competed in the Lafayette/Rider Winter Games held at the New York Armory on Saturday.
On the men's side, junior
Dominic Tasco (Bridgewater, NJ/Bridgewater) was selected as NJAC Track Athlete of the Week, while freshman
Laron Day (Long Branch, NJ/Long Branch) earned another NJAC Rookie of the Week citation.
The Lions continue their indoor season this Friday at the New York University Collegiate Invite at the armory. The following week, TCNJ will compete for the NJAC championship titles in New York City on Friday, February 15.
