TCNJ in third place after opening day of ECACs

Kyle Magliaro helped the Lions place fifth in the 4x200.
Friday's Results

New York, NY...The College of New Jersey earned 13 points on the opening day of the ECAC Championships and enter the final day in third place. The event is being held at the 168th Street Armory. 

The Lions men's team had a strong first day placing in the top five in three events scoring 13 team points. That total put them in third place after the opening day, with SUNY Cortland leading the field with 16 points.
 
Junior Julio Alorro (Cresskill, NJ/Cresskill) broke his own school record in the pole vault clearing 4.82 meters (15' 9.75”) to place fourth overall in the event. His old record set a year ago was at 15'7”.
 
Senior Steven D'Aiutolo (Cinnaminson, NJ/Cinnaminson) placed fifth in the triple jump with a distance of 14.36 meters.
 
The 4x200 relay team of Jake Lindacher (Egg Harbor Twp., NJ/Egg Harbor Twp.), Kyle Magliaro (Hillsborough, NJ/Hillsborough), Peter Okoh (West Orange, NJ/West Orange), and Michael Spekhardt (Sparta, NJ/Sparta) combined for a swift time of 1:30.33 to finish fifth.
