Hackettstown, NJ… The College of New Jersey wrestling team won its second dual meet in as many nights as the Lions rattled off wins in the final four weight classes to secure a 22-15 win on Friday night in Hackettstown.
 
The win put 30^th-ranked TCNJ at 5-4 on the year, while the Cyclones fell to 1-5
 
The hosts led 15-6 after the 165-pound match, but the Lions stormed back to win each of the final four bouts.
 
Senior Zach Zotollo (Paramus, NJ/Paramus) started that run for TCNJ as the 10^th-ranked wrestler at 174 pounds pinned his opponent in 2:38, while classmate and top-ranked Brian Broderick (Manahawkin, NJ/Southern Regional) collected a 4-3 decision at 184 pounds to tie the match at 15-15.
 
Junior Frank Crocco (Little Falls, NJ/Passiac Valley) then posted the biggest win of his brief career with the Lions since joining the team this semester with a 12-7 decision at 197.  Freshman Patrick Schinder (Forked Valley, NJ/Lacey) iced the win at heavyweight earning a 22-8 major decision to cap off the victory.
 
Scoring TCNJ's other wins earlier in the match were freshman Kevin Corrigan (Beachwood, NJ/Toms River South) at 125 pounds and sophomore Dylan Thorsen (Belvidere, NJ/Belvidere) at 149.
 
TCNJ pushing for big crowd on February 7
TCNJ has set its match against fifth-ranked Wilkes University as "Alumni Night" on Friday, February 7 with the hopes of filling Packer Hall. The dual meet is set for a 7 p.m. start, but fans are encouraged to arrive early with pre-match t-shirt promotions being held, as well as a number of former Lion grapplers being introduced before the starting line-ups.
