Madison, NJ... The College of New Jersey men's soccer team capped off a very impressive opening week of the season on Sunday as they dispatched of Roanoke College 2-0 on the second day of the Drew University Fall Festival.

The Lions completed a two-game sweep of the tournament and collected three wins in six days to open the season. They have also taken care of business at both ends of the field outscoring the opposition 9-0 in those victories.

TCNJ opened the scoring 23:04 into the game when sophomore
Michael Kassak (Moorestown, NJ/Moorestown) buried a penalty kick.

The Lions doubled that advantage with 11:35 left in regulation when junior
Nick Costelloe (Freehold, NJ/Freehold Township) scored on a feed from senior
Jordan Kayal (Mahwah, NJ/Mahwah). Costelloe has been a factor on the score sheet in each of the three wins scoring once in each game.

Jake Nesteruk (Doylestown, PA/Central Bucks East) registered five saves for his second shutout in as many days.
