NCAA Tournament Bracket
Ewing, NJ. … The College of New Jersey women's soccer team received an at-large bid to the 2016 NCAA Women's Soccer Championships and will host the opening two rounds of the tournament this weekend.

The Lions (16-1-1) earned the top seed in their bracket and will square off against Marywood University in the first round at 11 a.m. this Saturday, November 12. The Pacers posted an 11-5-2 overall record this season and received an automatic bid to the championships by capturing the Colonial States Athletic Conference title with a 3-2 victory over Centenary College.

In the second, first-round game, Virginia Wesleyan will take on Brandeis University at 1:30 p.m. Both teams received at-large bids by the selection committee. The Marlins dropped a 2-1 decision to Washington and Lee in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference championship game and finished the season with a 12-5-3 overall record. The Judges compiled a 13-3-3 season record. They compete in the University Athletic Association, which does not host a conference tournament.

TCNJ and Virginia Wesleyan squared in the 2016 season opener. The Lions registered a 3-0 victory in the match-up.

Upon receiving the at-large bid, TCNJ has now appeared in 26 consecutive NCAA championship tournaments.
